THE PORTALS OF LIGHT

This is the ministry of Louise Corley Morse, a channel of the Holy Spirit. Louise has given an entire life of service for the Lord in prayer, healing, counseling and teaching. As an ordained minister since 1958, she traveled full time for ten years, now reducing the travel and holding regular meetings at the Home Center.

The lessons are directed to the soul, enlightening it that it may be able to rise up in new strength and power to overcome the destructive forces of the lower nature. They feed the soul with spiritual truths, bringing greater understanding, and preparing it for the coming of our Lord, which cannot now be too far distant.

If you hunger and thirst after the things of Spirit, we invite you to drink deep of the truths to be found herein. These lessons have been a great blessing to many, going out to several countries, as well as all across the States, for the past sixteen years. They have brought many into a truly Christian life, and an acceptance of the salvation bought for us by our Lord, Jesus Christ. The foundation of the work is the Holy Bible.

CHANNELLING AND GROUP VORTEX

Many forget that there is a Plan that was laid out long ago by the great Architect, much greater than your human mind could foresee. You must not be discouraged when the picture does not move for you as you have envisioned, for you do see with the finite mind; and beloveds, only the infinite can truly create. That is the beauty in accepting the great Plan and moving with only the desire to go according to the Divine Will, for now you see blindly, and it is your only measuring stick for a few years. Is it not so that you have had eons of existence, and that you have been cared for by your Father through these many eons? So why should you doubt for these few years that you can measure?

There is purpose in all. You have come, beloveds, to a time of correcting, of returning to the point from which you first strayed in this life that you may correct the errors of an immature spiritual being, for now you have grown into a deeper understanding. Your Spirit has awakened; it is no longer dormant. Therefore, you must move into the next path of your enlightenment and your service.

In order to do this much has to be corrected, and you must remove those things or individuals who have become a barrier to the path, not only of your growth and development but most of all in your service to your Lord. For true it is that you can work with and love and forgive many individuals along the way, that you may serve better in finding your individual path, that you may surrender all to your Maker and not withhold any part of your being or desires or purposes.

You are told not to accept all spirits that come, but only those that come in the Name of the Christ consciousness, the work and mission of the Christ, and those that come in the Spirit of Truth. Your are told to test the spirits to see if they are of God, and that you must always be careful.

When a group conscientiously dedicates itself for years and years with pure aims and thoughts, and it is seeking only the highest Truth of God, then it is receiving in that Light and in that state of consciousness to which it is attuned. If one of low consciousness should by chance come near, they could not stand the Light of the Christ that surrounds. Immediately they are recognized. There have been very few coming near this group in years past, and they were quickly dispersed. They were recognized as such because you have insulation; you have the guidance and the protection of the Spirits and Angels of Christ. That's the difference. That's the danger of going into places of fortune-telling and people who only seek that of low level, for they are not insulated, they are not devoted to the Christ consciousness or to the Light of God. They are not seeking that, and that makes the difference.

There are the familiar spirits, those who have lived on Earth and are still around the Earth. They have a greater vision than you do, but they don't have all Truth. That's why we don't know all the answers to give you. We are channels, and many things come down, channelled down through us; and when we have great Truth, it is channelled down to us. We don't know it from this region, but we are being used as instruments and channels just like mediums on Earth are. We open to the Truth and teachings that come through us, and we give ourselves to the work of the Christ. That is our mission.

When sitting in a group sometimes in going toward the trance state, a feeling as of falling asleep may preceed this. And one not recognizing it for what it is sometimes unconsciously fights it by resisting and pulling back and forth; this brings discomfort. When you learn to let go, know that you are protected by the very desire of your soul, that you are putting yourself in the hands of the Divine, and that you are letting go in the knowledge that you are safe in body, mind, and soul. When you put yourself in the keeping of those coming in the Name of the Christ and working in the mission of the Father, do not be afraid. Do not feel that you must hold to your intellect and your will and your power and your logic. Use these, but at the time that you are working with the Spirit you do not need to hold on, for God will sustain you. Let yourself drift into the unknown, and be not afraid. We are with you, we will bring many things to you, and disclose the beauties of the heavens to those that can turn loose the earthly. Be patient and it will come in greater ways.

At times there are those who put hindrances in the way, some things pertaining to the strong will of the human. Let the will rest and abide in the will of God.

The image of the Father is deep within each one of the Sons of God. Jesus did say that all things that He did, you could do also and greater things than He, for the Divine Image of the Father is buried within each of you. But you have turned away. He did not turn away; He followed through, and His will became One with the Father. That is what He was trying to show. And the moment that your will becomes One with the Father, you will be in complete alignment and harmony, and all things will be done through you. There will not be the blocking, the interference, the shutting off of the divine. Then you will be one free channel.

Whether it is a prayer group or a group like this, your vibrations change, your chemistry changes every time you sit together. When people sit only for psychic phenomena, they open up just the astral realm, but they do not open up to the high Spirits. The ethereal is what you want. So you receive, and as you receive, freely give. You are a channel too. It passes on through you, and you radiate with smiles and looks from your eyes, and the spiritual Light around you, your aura, the radiation you give out is contagious and does something. Then you speak with your lips the things that come as your consciousness is fed; you give it out to those that ask, that are seeking. The world is so full of people seeking that you don't have to stop and worry about those that are not. When they are ready, they will start on the path to seek.

Beloveds, fear not the Spirits of Truth that are sent to you even as the Master Jesus has promised. Be patient, for you were promised that before the age had passed, the Spirits of Truth would come that all be revealed. You would know and see face to face the Spirit of the One leading you.

As your Spirit comes forth, it is no longer sleeping, it will open the eyes and see the wonders of eternity, see your Master face to face, see the Light in which all life has been living, and the many wonders, the things that you call miracles. So much is in store for you as your Spirit comes to life from the dormant state! It has been sleeping for a long time; now it is time to awaken. Those that are called are lifting up their heads, awakening, trying to remember who they are, where they are, and why they are so far away, wanting to return Home, listening for the call that will beckon them on.

So you must be prepared as these Messengers of Truth come to you. They are the ones having full knowledge of your needs. At times they may channel through some that are in the plane around the Earth waiting for their resurrection and doing missionary work while they wait. But recognize, beloveds, the Spirits of Truth and the Messengers of Light that do come; know the difference between them and those blessed souls on the astral plane that are being channels for your good. If the channelling is done correctly, the Truths come without distortion, but more and more now do you receive the Guardians themselves to teach you. This is a great privilege for man, and he should give thanks that his Holy Father has such a marvelous Plan that it includes preparation and care and love and guidance for all in the many mysterious ways that the Divine Host is to come.

You are learning the way to raise the vibrations; it is so very much a part of you. You have mistakenly thought that the instrument was all that was necessary, but you yourselves are such a tremendous part of the work that we have in store for you. You must realize this; you must see it for what it is. For we have prepared many of you for a long time, and the new ones that we have brought in are for a purpose, beloveds, to be the nucleus, the great Light that is the powerhouse for the work that we would bring through.

Give to the instrument your strength and your love; these are an undergirding. The Divine Self within you must be a part of lifting her up that she be able to perform the work that we bring through her channel, and you will be aiding us in our vibrations. There are certain sensitives that have been prepared throughout the world. The work is a great mission, and all that will go together to bring this about is of tremendous value.

Do not belittle that part of yourself, that Divine Nature of yourself that is the image of God. We are using that too, for you have so chosen. Nothing is done without your free will, but beloveds, you have so given your free will. Yes, you have made that inner choice, you have dedicated yourselves to the work of the Kingdom of Heaven which is to be made manifest upon Earth. So our thanks be unto you, and be not surprised that we will use you as instruments in the way that opens. But in the meantime, you are a great part of the holding of the Light and power that this instrument may continue the work.

To have greater balance within a group circle it is well to have male and female evenly distributed. Positive and negative, this is what will bring the balance. There are many things entering into the work of the psychic realm that you do not always understand. There must be batteries for the instrument, and there must be a certain balance within the group as well as your conscious thoughts that lift you in meditation.

The idea of your talking and witnessing before the meeting is good, and it would be well to do it often. Either speak of answered prayer, or witness to some help received during the week, or healing, or transformation, or something that could be shared in the spirit of the group which would give encouragement and show the work that is going on throughout the week as well as at the meeting. For there is much of benefit that comes from the nucleus of your group that is carried on day by day, and you are not always aware of this.

Even the strength that comes, even the work that is done by the instrument herself is made ready, is quickened. And also, shall we say, the possibilities of meeting the needs of others is greatly enhanced by your prayers, your strong support as a band, even as many of us. Now you do not understand this as yet, but you see those of us that are a great band of workers and work with you from other realms. None would be sufficient alone. Much of the work and Truths that are presented to you are carried through channels down to a band of workers such as we. Then we channel it through the instrument to you, having all been worked upon that the vibrations be increased, that your vibrations be brought up to a higher level, and ours lowered toward a meeting place with you.

So much is entailed that you do not realize. Through the strong band of workers on the invisible plane it is carried through into your keeping and you, as a strong band of prayer and support and quickened vibrations, are a supporting rod that help to hold the instrument. No medium or channel is sufficient unto herself. Yes, there must be great spiritual development over many lifetimes and true aims and purposes and focus upon that Christ consciousness to bring that which you desire. But even beyond this and the work of those in the invisible realm, there is still a great need for the supporting element of a prayer band of those in the flesh to surround the instrument and to help be that firm foundation upon which all is built. Then when it is given into your keeping through the instrument, you have been a great part in bringing this about. You in your service are helping to send it on to others whose awakened consciousness is ready to receive. They become a focal point that will share and send out from their centers to others.

You see, beloveds, it is a continuous chain, an unbroken circle around the Earth. It would take too long to explain to you the vital part each one plays in all this plan, even that working through your one small group, and many are there upon the earth. For the work of the Kingdom is coming through the small groups and prayer bands of fellowship and quickened consciousness, those desiring, choosing, and dedicating themselves to stand apart and to take time out from the distractions of Earth to lend a helping hand to bring this about. For the Kingdom of Heaven upon Earth will be brought in through the leavening OF SUCH AS YOU.

There are times that the power should be channelled directly. We stand beside you ready to help, but there is something that can be done through the human soul that is more effective sometimes than that from the other side. There are laws governing this that you do not know at this time, but the desire of each soul, one to help the other, is a link in the chain. There is response, a power going through from one soul to another that brings this into effect. It must be the desire on the part of both to bring about a true healing. This should be done for the instrument at the close of the session.

You should learn to feel the magnificence and healing force of the Almighty through the various "fingers" of your being, for each of you is a channel for God's power. You do not have to be different or special - that is within each one of you, and you just allow this power, this creative energy to flow through without impediment.

You should practice and restore this ability to move yourself out on the path, and let the Divine come through, for you will have need of this more and more. As you serve in preparing the way for the new Kingdom, your faith must be restored. You must use that which you learn. It places a responsibility upon you as you learn the laws of the Spirit, for you must begin to put them into operation. You must use that knowledge which is gained or you will become barren.

Divine energy is stored within each of you, and this creative energy and life force of God must have outlet. Sometimes this has been blocked in a prior lifetime where the ability to release the divine creative energy had been present. It becomes a prisoner within the being, and now in this lifetime the soul becomes prisoner through the human ego of that far distant life. This causes great misery within the being, a struggle, "a wrestling with the angel" so to speak, for in many lives this has been trying to come to the front to be restored to the original effectiveness and creativeness that was once there. This gives a feeling in this life experience that comes to the fore as a long lost memory, and prayer must be made for release, for understanding of things that are blocking and interfering with the divine effectiveness.

Now through many lives of spiritual growth and desires to serve, to give of oneself completely to the work of the Father, those last remaining things that have caused blockage are coming to the surface. Desire and prayer will bring them that release may be found.

God's energy will not stay down; it must come first because it is life. You have not understood in the past that you are as important at this group meeting as is the instrument. YOU ARE THE LIGHTBEARERS. You come with the vibrations of your aura, with the quickened consciousness, and with that great Light that will merge with that of the instrument, together building power that the foundation may be laid, that we may come unto you through the methods that have been in use for many centuries. So much is not understood by you of the laws and the workings of the invisible plane. We would have you desire to know and begin to work with these laws and the ways in which you may play a part. For that which comes depends a great deal upon the entire atmosphere and vibration of the combined spiritual consciousness, that which is unseen.

Your instrument has great need of a supporting battery of faith and prayer sustaining and holding the Light in which she works that she be held up, that she be made more receptive, and open to the higher forces. More concentration and direct sustaining of these works is necessary, for much has been drained from the vitality of the instrument through an inadequate understanding of laws of Heaven. That is the reason that it can be told to those of you who are what you might term the inner group, those that have been aware for a long time, that have been working in tune with the instrument.

Of course, you may say that something comes through regardless of where the instrument may be or who is there, and to an extent that is correct. But many factors are there of which you are not aware, and you do not know the heights to which the group consciousness might rise were it done appropriately. Many who have come as new ones into the group in the past have been seeking, and they did not know that which should be made understandable to them. There must be perfect accord, a oneness of Spirit, all minds in the same aim and purpose and direction, all souls merging into the pool of oneness of Spirit, all personalities, all humanness (I believe you call it your ego). That which is your astral identity and the human concern must be laid aside that you come into perfect union with spirit, which is God-consciousness.

If you would be raised in consciousness, you might lose your human self for that length of time as you would practice breathing and holding the breath over and over again. Few are the moments in a lifetime that any human forgets himself long enough to enter into the great oneness of God's mind. Do not begrudge any moment that you may give. Some have given it to you before. I believe that you are the nucleus; yes, you are a combination, a group consciousness and Light that is being used for entrance into your world by the brothers coming from what you call outer space. These points of Light upon Earth are the doors, the portals. Through that you may rise, and others may come to you, but you must work as a unit. There must always be a strong band of Light and energy surrounding the instrument if you are to have all things work effectively, for there is great work to be done, only the beginning have you seen.

It is a crucial time in the third dimension. All bands must work in good faith and sincerity and perseverance that the work of the Kingdom be brought in. Consider yourself a great part, and be not a listener only. Know that you are contributing every moment, that you are entering into the circle and band of Light for these times of appointment with you. As you sit in your place, streams of energy are flowing out from you. If you could but see yourself as the next dimension sees you, you would see something akin to what you would call a machine, for you would see Light and energy stream, odic force, much going on within your aura, around it, and extending out from you as an individual spark of God.

According to your desires, your intentions, that which you would put first in your consciousness will determine the goal. You must be aware of the part that you take. A great Light source of energy is missing from that of the whole group consciousness when you are not keeping your appointment with the Spirit. Naturally there are times when you cannot, but we want you to realize how important it is. You are not a human form sitting upon a chair, but you are an instrument of God alive with vitality, creative energy and force and power and Light. That is the doorway between worlds with the conscious ability to take that which comes, to assist in bringing in greater things due to your presence and your belief and faith. Also that you may send forth direction whether it be telepathic thought or healing or whatever may be the need. You are a focal point; you can be used at that moment as well as have your soul taught the Truth of Heaven that you may grow and become the spiritually mature being that is your destiny.

We welcome you as yet another day of consciousness dawns in your time measurement of Earth. You are shining forth in true Light, for we have watched with joy the growth and more powerful Light that is coming from each individual and from the nucleus combined. We are grateful that you have been serving and spreading this Light. As we have made the way for those teachers coming from celestial heights, we have prepared on your plane and on our plane for many to be in attendance.

There are many souls invisible to you that come and sit at the feet of Masters that have come through the channels and say this in lower form. Some are serving as channels in the Paradise plane. As these teachers, who have not lived on the Earth, come at the end of the Age to bring the message of Light to the Earth plane, we as a band of those willing to serve are in-between as it were. We offer ourselves as instruments to serve from this plane of ours, working through and preparing the instrument of the third dimension, preparing the conditions, the atmosphere, the timing and the preparation of each individual heart that is led into this group.

We are all working together. If you could see the beautiful co-ordination and the loving Spirit that permeates and moves through, you would see that the planes are interwoven. Your consciousness is lifted to a high degree as you are quickened, as you are prepared chemically within your body, as you are prepared in your consciousness and in your ideals. You are quickened through the very secretions of your endocrine glands. You are changed, and you are aware of this as you sit on these evenings. So we lower our vibrations and come in on another frequency that we may meet on a common bond or wave length that we might join with you.

This is possibly too technical to describe in detail but it works as you can see. Those from other realms who have been coming to you for some time past make arrangements to meet at what you would call a given time, for we are not aware of time outside of the third dimension. There is a planned meeting of consciousness, they come, and our band of workers steps aside to let them speak to you. It is a great honor and privilege that we may be a part of this enlightenment, for it has not been always that teachers came. True, many times in the past has this been, but not continuously.

But you were promised that there would be revelations made to all men on Earth when they so desired at the end of a great cycle, this 72,000 year cycle with smaller cycles within. You know the mission at hand, you know that these are truly great days, and we would bring to you and your fellowmen that message of love and hope and courage that you may eliminate fear from the Earth. There has been great work defeated because of misunderstood and misinterpreted prophecies.

Beloveds, you are walking in such darkness and fear on Earth. This must not be! You are the Lights that will help to cast out fear. With love in your hearts, you walk in the darkness, and the darkness is no more for love is contagious. Light will eliminate darkness, and trust and hope will dissipate fear. Too many are walking the Earth today with dire predictions, bringing fear to the hearts of men. Without hope, this fear could be well founded. But with the knowledge you have of a new Heaven and a new Earth, with all things coming into good from chaos, you have a foundation that will not sink or fall. You know the Words of the Master teacher. You know that only through travail will a new Earth be born. You know that this is in process, and you have a hope and faith of that which is coming. Look to that rather than to fearful things. You must help to eliminate fear from the Earth.

Can you not trust in your Maker? Look to Him! Lift your consciousness, and be filled with love and trust that all things will work together for good as you have been told in your Scriptures. For the Truth lies within it, but man has so meddled with it that distortion has been prominent, and man has become lost in the distortion.

Now beloveds, we would have you know that no matter what befalls the material world, your consciousness lives forever, cannot be harmed, cannot be touched. It will shine evermore in brilliance, and you will be part of this glorious dawn! You will be among the beautiful colors of the dawn. You will be the new Kingdom, and you must assume your responsibility in that dignity, in that trust and love and gratitude for your eternal life. Do not doubt for one moment that you have lived, that you are living, and that you will continue to live in as high a consciousness as you desire. For you can lift yourself to the heights or lower yourself to the depths.

You have free will and never will it be taken from you. You have been shown both ways; it is your choice. But long ago you made the choice that has brought you to the place where you now find yourself. Much work is to be done in rebuilding a new world.

You will continue for a while to go through tribulation on Earth, but have you not been spared many things that you see on Earth? Is it not because your consciousness has lifted you above that which you no longer claim for yourself? As you learn and understand the laws of the universe, you will be lifted out of travail, you will be raised above it, overcome it, and you will be one with the Divine Will.

After a session, those sitting with the channel should be refreshed. The individuals of the group should be in complete attunement, but it depends upon their choice as to whether they put the ego completely aside and are aware only in the soul of them. This is done many times, and many do not feel a tiredness. But others, not understanding, would become tense, and this would react on the physical and emotional bodies. It is something that one learns to do. It is not necessary to feel tired. If you relax and are asking to be quickened in the Spirit and you are sincere in your reaching for higher Truths, then you may not be aware of anything except the soul of you. But this takes practice. You are protected, you are rested when you allow yourself to be. You are revitalized if you let this power and energy flow through you, and you should be restored in whatever would be of lower vibration in you at the time.

Many teachers choose various vibrations and enter into various parts of the Earth to assist. Those going into the land of China would speak in Chinese, and many going into other portions of the world would identify with the consciousness of that land and of the peoples of that portion. They would learn the language through the consciousness and through the aura of these; each one according to that which he would enter into. Of course, in other realms there is not language and the confusion that was brought upon Earth by language. It is that projection of thought, thought transference, instant knowing and projection of great concepts going into the human consciousness.

That is what we are trying to do more and more with you, and we do this with the channel. Many times as we speak to the soul of you, it is not that we are saying so much in words, but at the same time we are projecting concepts into your souls, into your awareness, and you understand then as the words go forth to you.

There are those in astral planes who have lived in many different lands, and in their consciousness they have various languages. As some come through mediums who are of the astral mediumship, many would come through according to the life or the land in which they lived and would speak. But it is with difficulty that we learn to use a voice box. It is easier at times to send the concept through into your consciousness than it is to try to come through language of Earth and to use a voice box. This is not done so often by the teachers coming from celestial heights. It is more that those who have lived and died upon your Earth come from astral realms, and many speak through a voice box. But it is rare that those from ethereal planes would use this means, and we would in many cases prefer to bring forth the concepts and the teachings through the consciousness of the channel.

Many would not receive as clearly, and many would not understand, so we come through for different purposes of work. At times we speak through the soul of the channel. Other times the soul is taken into other realms to be taught, to be given greater understanding. We speak through the voice box to directly focus through the power, through the vibration of sound to penetrate, to go forth into the soul of you so that you have greater clarification. We do not speak to the conscious mind of you. It is for this reason, many times, that we say we do not object if you go to sleep. If you do, then you are all the better out of the way that the soul is not interfered with.

If you can have desire for understanding and the soul is open to receive, and the consciousness is choosing with the body, mind, and soul of you all in one accord, open to receive, then you get greater clarification also in your conscious mind. It will help you in your choices to discipline your astral self and to lift your consciousness. So this is good when you can be in accord. But if the soul is open, trying to receive, and the conscious mind is too overburdened with education of Earth, then there can be conflict. The intellect can begin to rationalize without the soul discernment. Then you find a discord, and you lose the understanding of that which would be clear to you if you were of one accord.

It is difficult to bring those things to you in any language. It is not possible to bring a complete understanding of Spirit in words. It is only that we try to console you in a way by trying to speak some words to you, getting your attention, having your choice to open and project them in power into your being. In this manner you are being fed. That is why you have understanding and the Spirit bears witness to the Truth. Then it becomes Light unto you. Seek this reception of concepts rather than only ideas, or words, or partial truths. As you get complete concepts within you, you shall have greater understanding and shall let the consciousness of you work in one accord with the Spirit so that you become lifted up in body, mind, and soul.

When desiring to channel forth love to a person or situation, there are times when to open and let the love flow through one as a creative action may be best, while at other times to direct this force through the mental may be more effective. The wisdom and discernment of the soul shall show you how best to use the power. We are not so much desiring to instruct you as to help you recognize and come forth in the God-self or center of you that you learn to discern in the Spirit, to know, to recognize, to know when and how to do each thing. As you open to a guidance each day, it is a recognition. Many times when you have a specific need, then you may direct this, consciously, mentally, without struggling, and without emotion.

You see, compassion is not a part of astral emotion. This you use as you remain detached from the situation or the individual. You are not within the aura of the fear, or the despair, or illness. You are not becoming conditioned through imbalance of emotional stress. You are staying above, beyond the situation, apart from it, not identified with it. In this case, it is as looking from the mountain top into the valley with great compassion of heart and yet with wisdom that would not let it be a runaway emotion. True love is deeper than what you know as emotion. It is not cold and fruitless, but it is with wisdom, observing, working with compassion and intelligence, fulfilling the need of others.

Know that your Father will work through you if you have given consent and have gotten out of the way, whether it be to talk to your neighbor or to smile at one who at that moment would need encouragement, or it may be a loving hand upon the shoulder of another, or a seed planted to start the thinking and searching for the God within. There may be small ways; there may be great ways. It is not for you to judge or measure, but only give of yourself, get out of the way, and offer yourself as a living sacrifice unto your God.

You are a new creation; you can assume that identity, and go forward expectantly living in the Spirit of you. This is not a doctrine, beloveds, this is reality. You ARE Spirit; believe it or not. So begin to live in it. You are masquerading; take off the masks, and find out who you really are.

Give thanks unto your God, and desire to go forth, expect to go forward. And as you go in this attitude, revelations will come to you. Do not become frustrated and say right away that you cannot reach this, that you cannot receive guidance. You block it and defeat the purpose! It is difficult, yes, because you have not learned how simple it is. Let go.

Do you not know why some that have fallen to the lowest are possibly the easiest to bring up? They have quit trying, they have given up. In one way you might say that this is defeat and is not the way, but if you recognize (while you give up in the human) that you are rising and going forth in the Spirit of you, then that is the difference. Give up humanly without any hope or expectancy; but without any choice of the Spirit going forth, that is the error.

But relax, let the human ego stop trying to show God how the Earth should be run and just stop where you are for a time. Relax, give up your human efforts consciously, and truly and literally say, "Here am I, Lord, use me," and expect that He will. Believe me, you will be surprised how fast you will get results. But you have to mean it, you have to truly desire it - not lip service.

Man has quite the incorrect understanding of the word "perfection", and many times it has been blockage in his development or in his reception of spiritual gifts. Because many wish to attain in the third dimension and because they fall short of this, they judge themselves or others, or they are discouraged and lose confidence (in rare cases is there condemnation). These are all doors that are closed to the Light going through you and the prayers going from you. You can never have a prayer of the soul reach unto the Father when the closed door of judgment or resentment or bitterness is in your heart.

Now this is taught in many places upon Earth, but few recognize and practice it. There must be the open channel if you would receive. It is not a matter of being selective or of one being of higher consciousness or living a better life than another. This is not to be judged. It is whether or not you have the doors open. You may open one and close another at the same time. You may desire to love, yet you may resent your neighbor because he has mistreated you, so your prayer is cancelled out. Now we would not say that it does no good, but we would say that there cannot be the open passage. If you attempt to speak over your telephone and the line is cut, you may speak all day and praise yourself that you have spoken, but the message has not reached very far except in your own ears.

You must learn to open the door through sacrificing the things that you might like within yourself, these that are as habit-forming in the human consciousness. Many would be quite unhappy if they could not resent their neighbor or be a little bitter because they have been mistreated. It would take away the joy which they have. This is human. You must learn to find joy through more satisfactory means. You must lift your sights. You must open the doors and sacrifice the petty things, the negative reactions of the emotions so that the channel be completely open. Then let your soul pour forth a desire unto God, and it is created.

The answer is yours before you have asked in the way that makes for all good, not necessarily in the way that the finite mind might picture it. You open the doors to the wisdom of the Father, not to the finite knowledge. If you had all wisdom within you, you would not need to ask of infinity, but in the conscious mind you do not have it. You do have it in the image of God within, but you have closed the door there long ago. So that is the door we are opening.

You will eventually have your wisdom, your answers, your love, and all needs met through the power of God within your being, your Holy Temple. You will not have to seek from teachers, or channels, or ethereal beings, or anyone other than the God within you. We are leading you into this. It is the reason we do not answer all your questions, do not make your decisions for you, do not take your responsibility away from you. We would do you harm if we did this. We are leading you into the Light, and teaching you to walk in the Spirit that you have communion with your Father and have all things unto you.

In this understanding of perfection, it is the going toward the perfected Plan which is all Light, all wisdom, all good. And the perfection in the soul of the individual is not what man calls "perfection" (perfect in the eyes of man). Many justify themselves by saying, "We are human, we cannot be perfect." Perfect is not what you think it is. You do have the potentials. You have the plan within you which is the completion, the plan of perfection, even as the acorn holds the perfect plan of the mighty oak - the growth, the looks, the form, the age - the perfect plan and rhythm and cycle of growth of the great oak. It is the plan of perfection that is fulfilled when the acorn releases the plan within it, and the oak begins to grow tall and straight before its Creator, reaching a certain height, certain proportions, certain life cycles, then appearing to die. It has completed the cycle of that purpose which was intended for it, the completed cycle including birth, growth, life, and change or transformation. It is a completed plan, a perfected plan.

Perfection is that entirety, that completion of the thought and purpose, the idea sent forth from God, a plan for that life or that race or that universe, a completed plan, a cycle of a Divine Plan. You are becoming perfected. You are in the midst of a great Divine Plan. You are not perfect yet because the Plan has not been completed. When you find yourself to be what you call "unworthy", not having reached high attainment, you call it lack of perfection, imperfection, and you look down on yourself. This is injustice. You do not look down upon a soul that is in the process of blooming into full blossom. You are walking in a Plan; you are living; you are becoming aware of a small segment of that Plan. You are part of a great Divine Plan of the universe, a Plan for the Sons of God. You are growing in this, becoming perfected.

Any law in any dimension is but a part and a reflection in that dimension of the greater spiritual law which was given at the Source. Are not these laws then used to transcend the physical, to lift you into higher vibration, to open the doors of the potentials within you, the dormant state within? Man must come out of his weakness, his inferiority as he calls it, and recognize the truth of himself. Humanly he is nothing, even as the Master, but as he recognizes his identity and he recognizes that the potentials, the attributes of God are within him, he removes his fear and his lack of confidence within himself, his anxiety, his worry, his possessiveness of things of Earth, or of families of Earth. Parents sometimes possess their children, many become possessive in relationships.

Then would man find that a new courage and strength would come from the deep wellspring within, that immortal one. In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. It has been given that from deep within the center of your being, the Kingdom of God within you, shall come your courage, your confidence, your strength, and your overcoming. Seek it there. Put down self that the Divine may work through you.

All are channels to one degree or another, but many are the channels of Earth who have been prepared over many lifetimes to be used as vessels and instruments, because they have learned to set aside themselves for a greater part of a lifetime that the Father may work through them in many mysterious ways. It is not for man to question which way, for all things of the Spirit seem as foolishness to the eyes of the world. Each may choose that which he would follow, but the world shall crumble in the physical sense, in the material sense. True reality is of the spiritual nature of man and life in the cosmic realm.

As you become highly sensitized and closer to living in other dimensions for greater lengths of time, you shall find that you understand concepts better, and eventually you shall be transmuted. But in the interim comes your tribulation, for it shall appear to be worse as you enter into the higher realms, many times it shall seem an agony.

This was also presented in example by the Master Jesus even as He went through persecution, misunderstandings, torture, even physical death, crucifixion, on through to the grave. The Master went through all vibrations down to the lowest, down into Beelzebub's realm, overcame the grave, entered into the interior of the Earth to the lowest vibration that He might bring that part of Light and lift those that would follow. With the Light through each vibration on back to the ascension, He brought new life where there was death. Each individual shall go through the wilderness, as it is called, the valleys; you cannot grow without this.

There seems to be inequality in the Earth at the moment because of the past incarnations. There are those who have made use of the opportunities of progress, those who have not and have wasted incarnations in a sense. Therefore, many who have had intentions and motives that were not of purity, now in this incarnation have many difficulties, even as you find in other lands, in other countries. You cannot judge nor say that the mercy of God is not present, for even so He raises them from this and gives opportunities not only through many incarnations, but later through many planes of consciousness. All are given opportunity, but they do not all reach the same degree at the same time.

As the awakened ones come into a greater understanding, become more receptive, they open the doors to negative forces that see the effecttiveness, see that they are approaching the greater realization, and try to defeat the purpose of the soul and mislead it again as they did in the Paradise state. Was not even the Master Jesus tempted many times and persecuted? All who follow shall necessarily go through this time of tribulation, because you cannot reach the heights without going through the lowest, through the valleys on to the mountain top. THEN SHALL YOU TRULY OVERCOME; then shall you know and recognize.

Thus it is that as the meek have reached a point in their evolving and in their incarnations, they have learned to subdue certain parts, they have overcome to where they are not dictatorial, they have reached a place of learning and yet may have gone to the other extreme by not understanding. As they focus upon meekness or humility or even their lack of confidence, the inferiority, then they are truly focusing upon the self, and this will eventually pass.

They must look upon self to see it for what it is. Have you thought of this? They must be ready to face self, to see the reflection, to look in the mirror of truth, come through it, overcome it, choose, bring all into alignment, and finally overcome and ascend. But as each one is going through periods of sensitivity, there will be greater travail, greater pain and agony, even appearing to be failing in the eyes of many, to most of the world. Even Jesus failed as seen through the eyes of the world.

Turn within, try to understand yourself, your motives, your purposes and aims; work with them and yet have a certain contentment and acceptance while you are doing this. You must not be ruffled and disturbed. The preparation for the days ahead will come to you through this inner revelation.

Long ago the Master Jesus tried to teach man that all that He did man could also, for He allowed the Father to do the works through Him. If one is willing to open completely and offer himself to his God, he can become a channel, a vessel for service through that manifestation of creation. You do not have to do anything in the same way as another. This is a mistake. Many try to be like another. Be yourself, an individual spark of God, of life made in HIs image with free will to individually express the Creator upon all the planes that you inhabit. You can always improve self, yes, but be the individual self that you are. Do not try to imitate another.

All the Sons of God in their turn of readiness will be helped to turn loose of Guardians at times and begin to walk upon Earth in the Spirit, in the discernment of the Divine Spirit within. More and more shall be brought through. It is more important that it come forth from the Divine Self within than from other teachers from without.

This will eventually be true of you and many. Patience and forbearance for discernment must be, and the Spirit must move in the strength of love and compassion for those of Earth. Many things shall come through even in the conscious state, for that is where the practice comes in.

Overcoming and ascension is something that is offered right now to many upon Earth. They may go in a drifting manner over the Earth the rest of their days, or they may find a goal, a mission that they may start to accomplish and gain and make great strides in overcoming much that had not been overcome before. Forgiveness is one thing, but overcoming weaknesses - areas that have not been fully developed - is something else. The overcoming of karma and forgiveness and your freedom were one thing, and that of overcoming weaknesses and growing is another.

The Master had reached the ultimate in unselfish Divine Love, for He had the desire and never lost sight of returning to the Source. Then reaching an incorruptible state, He came back when He did not have a requirement to do this, but He volunteered in love to give His brothers a helping hand.

This has been the key to the manifesting of God through Earth. Many think that the holding of the recognition of God within them is completely sufficient, but in a group the Light around them is intensified, the power and strength is intensified. Why would it be given, "Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them? There is great power, and in that Spirit and understanding and identification with the Name and Nature of God, the Sons of God, brought together for one purpose, can accomplish all things.

With this great love and power, He came as an example, and all who would serve as channels of God must recognize that in the manifestations of all His creation. In all dimensions do you see and find your God, whether it be through the smile of one, the hand clasp of another, the love within the heart, the belief, the faith, the sustaining of each other. In this sense you are your brother's keeper, not imposing your will upon him, not becoming possessive, not being bound to his domination, but free to love in the divine sense, to serve your God by serving your fellowman. The touch of the hands of God's instrument is the touch of God to the finite recognition. The simple ways of love in the soul response to the need of your fellowman need no other motive than to express God to him through you as you get out of the way, and let this come forth. The understanding of the heart in need brings response even as the love of the blind for those that help them to see. Letting others see the Christ Light in you is for that moment being "God" to them. This was taken for blasphemy as the Master gave it, for many did not understand.

God manifests in sunsets of the skies, in the mountains, the trees, all nature, the beauties of the planets, the solar systems He has created, but most of all, in the very heart of Him, the projection of the begotten Sons who would be His instruments, His hands and feet upon the physical plane or upon all dimensions in the frequency in which He would manifest, trusting His begotten to represent the visible part of Him.

Are you true to that trust? Do you take His Name in vain? Do you have compassion and forgive, or do you pass judgment? And do you feel free to walk in the Spirit according to the soul conviction within you, not being bound to any human being upon Earth but following the way your God leads?

This is the publishing arm of the "Portals of Light" Ministry. It is incorporated as a non-profit organization under Federal and State laws, and as such can accept gifts, contributions, trusts and bequests, and issue tax-deductible receipts. Indeed, it is such gifts and contributions that pay for all the supplies and equipment needed to publish the lessons.
