Ann, Invisible Teacher speaks through Louise:

We bless you in the name of the one whom you serve.

The great light of the Christ surrounds you and your dwelling, and shines in such a way that many of the spirit world are attracted to such centers. We have explained before to you that there are many more unseen presences than the visible ones which you have in your meeting, for those needing understanding are brought in to you to be a part of the listening and the learning for the great truths of the universe. You may not understand this but those that do not have the full understanding will feel more at home, will have fuller grasp when with Earth beings than with those of the next dimension. For many as they pass into the next plane are not fully prepared to understand the meaning of the new life. They are still clinging to things of Earth and they need tender preparation; not all by any means, but many.

You would be surprised at the thousands dwelling on the spirit side who are waiting for someone to help them, to enlighten them and to lead them. And such groups on the spirit side of life are working and bringing those into Earth circles where they might find some enlightenment to send them on the path. Even this instrument was used for many years for nothing except that work with those on the suspended planes; such workers are few. Now that your work has progressed and has gone into another initiation and you have passed through much of the foundation work, we are glad that these of the spirit are bringing many to listen. For then you are serving a double work, as you might say.

You in the group are a very important nucleus. We have been trying to show you this is many ways. Were it not for your desires, your sincerity of heart and purpose, your dedication to your work and mission, your giving up of other things that you might come together in one accord, were it not for this there would not be the center and point of light that would be the open door for the teachers to work through and to express on your plane. Neither could it be done that it would be sent out to the world, that it would become the printed material that you have so successfully brought about. None of this could be done without your assistance. Never forget this. We of other realms are grateful, for our work could not be effective were you not the willing hands that we might work through you.

The ministering of angels, the working of all those from many realms that would do the Master's bidding, must be done under the great organization, the Great White Brotherhood which extends through many realms and is working to bring about that Kingdom for which you have prayed so long. The heavenly realms will descend upon the planet Earth, but the purification must be done and that is where you now find yourselves--yes--in the midst of the great cleansing of the planet Earth. So there should be joy. Keep this uppermost in your thoughts and visions. Many are the tribulations of Earth, as your scriptures give you, but have you not been blest in spite of them? Have you not been promised that all will be well? So trust and know that the great dawning will come. Be ever mindful of the responsibility that you have for now that you are awakened souls, you must never turn back. Each one has a part in the bringing in of the Kingdom of Heaven upon the planet. Time will cease, prophecies may fail, but the planet has been promised a new order. It will be accomplished partly through those of us assisting from other realms and partly through you.

Were it not for the awakened souls, it would not be done, for it was your choosing, your awakening, your asking and seeking from the planet Earth that has opened the door to the new light. Mankind was ever given free will. That is why the answer could never be given as to when the Master would return and to when the Kingdom would be in manifestation. It was said that it would be because it was a seed planted in the heart of man but not even the angels in Heaven could know the time, for that lay in the heart of man himself. As the awakening came, as the desire and the need for that divinity came about, then did man look up, then did he start his searching, then did he call out for his Creator. That recognition, that seeking brought about the change upon Earth. Those that had been given into the keeping of the Lord Jesus were the ones who would walk the Earth until the seed became fruit. They, which means you, were given to him to nourish that they might grow in the likeness of the Christ. The blueprint was within.

So in your growth you are reaching the place, calling out for your Master, knowing that you have a home to which you may return, that all will be prepared for you, yet also knowing that you are asking for the heavens around the Earth to descend, that the third dimension be spiritualized, be made whole, that the Earth no longer be in travail, but that birth be given to a new world, to new creatures, to new life, that it move in that orbit which brings it into the great dawning light which is greater than you can imagine. You did not know that which you were seeking but you had the seed within you, the desire that would grow and become restless and reach out, struggle and call forth. Yes, you were the same generation that walked the Earth with the Master and that generation of people has not passed away and will not until the harvest be reaped.

You may wonder why we repeat so much and emphasize so much the harvest. For thousands and thousands of years, for eons, life has been manifesting upon Earth, all has been moving in the direction of the change which must be at each cycle. Preparation was made through many years. Now is the time for which you are made ready. So now it is your turn to be about your Father's business. For you are placed in the heavens around the Earth that you be a part of the plan of lifting the Earth into the higher vibrations. As you failed in the beginning and descended into those vibrations of physical Earth, you were delayed in your mission. You became one with those that were Earth beings. You were the spiritual creation, created separate, a little lower than the angels, yet three cubits above the Earth, a special creation for a special mission.

No longer do you have to fail. Now you are bringing about the fruits but you can be even more effective and you will be given more opportunity, not only in this transition of changing into the fourth dimension and of helping establish the Kingdom of Heaven upon Earth, but then as you are translated and moved into the next world (as you would speak of it) the next dimension, the paradise state, then will you have a millennium of work in a higher realm. You need not be distressed at this point for when that moment comes you will know what to do and you will be working in your greater self and not in the human failings. And now you are in the midst of the quickening and changing which will get you to a point where you can be immediately taken into the next dimension. Then is the prophecy fulfilled, that you be changed in the twinkling of an eye. When you reach that stage then this may be done. And part of our work is to help you to reach that place, that it be not a sudden change and shock for you but that you be easily transported and changed into that greater self that you are.

Would it not be foolish for the caterpillar to question the change from the cocoon, or to question the freedom of life as the beautiful butterfly that is released into the light, into the glorious world, the different vision that you can imagine at the first flight of the butterfly? Would it not have a new vision of light than that when it was crawling upon the ground or upon the leaf of the bush, or yet while it was embryonic in the cocoon? Well, beloveds, do you not see that you are resting in the cocoon? Can you not have faith that you will soon be in a bright and glorious and free existence in a new realm? Does not that bring joy to your heart? Would you retard this with fear or distressing thought or anxiety?

You should be giving thanks, you should be singing praises with joy that before too long there would be your release and you become the beautiful butterfly in a new light, in a new life, with no limitations. Would that we could help you to understand and to see this, that all anxiety would leave you, that you be the willing hands while you are upon the Earth in the third dimension and that you joyfully bide your time until you take flight. All your labors would seem to you in a different light did you have full comprehension of this. Your problems would seem as nothing for the old world is truly passing away as your words of wisdom have told you. Cling not to things of the past. Look to that light into which you are going. Know that many glories await you.

And now the only important thing is that you be a part of understanding that you might pass this love and trust and peace to your neighbor. Love your neighbor as yourself, yes, but share with your neighbor that peace and joy that is reality, not words, but a faith that will hold until the time of the transition that will carry you through the dark days, knowing that you have the light within you. Do not fear and tremble when the clouds are dark around you. You have the secret, you have the key. Your consciousness can penetrate the darkness for the light of God is within you. You need not seek the skies. Let that light shine through you that the world may see the divinity in and through and around you. You are the representative of the Most High God. Take that responsibility not in vain. You are the bearer of that portion of light that will lift the world.

These are not idle words, beloveds. They are the truth of the universe. They are directing you to the centers of the light that will fill the world. The laws of the heavens are operating throughout the physical world. You have the consciousness, you have the contact that you might call radio wires or radio wireless. You can know the truth, for as you open your soul to the light, not an intangible light, but a light of reality, then you are becoming another channel, another instrument. And when enough individual lights are shining, will not the dark planet become light? How else did you think it would happen? True it is that vibrational spheres will have changed, that the Earth will enter another orbit, but the true lighting of man will come from within each individual, of those that are appointed to be the followers of the Christ light.

Did the Master not say that he was the light of the world? Did he not say that you would do even greater things than he and that you were one with him as he was one with the Father? When you have true realization of this you forget your human self, you forget that ego that you have been living under and you recognize the image of God within you and then do you see that the light of God will come through each one that He has made upon Earth. The leavening is taking place. Much has been done on Earth. The way has been cleared, things will move rapidly, changes are coming about every day. But keep in mind; walk in humility, walk in faith, understanding that you know what is going on, that you know all is being moved for good and that you are a part of it. Therefore, you can say to your neighbor, "Arise, come forth and live for all is not lost but has been found. Follow the light and it will lead you home."

Those looking to you will follow your light. There are many that may never see the light of God unless they see it in you. Does this not give you a new incentive? Does it not cause you to see the importance of each soul upon Earth? You are not your own, you are the master plan walking the Earth in human flesh. Relax, let go, be willing and see the divine plan work out through your being and that of each one who has awakened to the point that they say, "Here am I, take me and let me be the light for the one coming after."

It is so vital that the world understand what is happening to it. If this were something that would be centuries from now there would not be so much emphasis. There was the emphasis given the few almost two thousand years ago. The seeds were planted, the word was spoken, the cause was set in motion. But you are bringing it about, you are part of the fruition and in between there has not been so much given. But was it not said that in the last days of the age that the spirit of truth would be poured out upon all flesh? And yet many turn away and recognize it not.

You are not left alone. Thousands and thousands, legions of angels surround your planet, all working in course of action, waiting for the moment that the final deliverance will be, sending forth hope and new truth, patiently looking on, inspiring those who would be inspired, those who are willing, those who seek, bringing forth inventions to men of science who wait in the stillness of the morning for the secrets that come to them. You have not been alone. Yet but a little while and you will know more of the ethereal ships surrounding your planet and waiting for the time at hand when the divine intervention only comes trhough your request and your prayers and desires.

Do you not see that this is a very important point in your prayer life? For many are the misunderstandings in the world, many would say it does no good to pray for the laws of God are unchangeable. But the great laws take into account all things that will be, all changes, all situations and beforehand are the answers there. Now when you stop to think that your prayers are thought taking wings, going into the ether, reaching out a sincere desire of the soul, searching, seeking, asking, and opening the door, do you not see then that those legions of angels work ever to obey the Lord sending them. those in high command under the plan and great love of the Almighty? Then each one is ministered to by the angels, by the guardians appointed him and as you send out great desires for the soul of you contact is made. You are reaching out to those who have been commanded to serve you and many are the ways that they can guard you, can guide you, can teach you and lift you up and sustain you.

So then will you come with questions of desires, with childlike prayers of faith. It does not matter if you use wrong words, if you do not have the same pattern, the same understanding. All in the heavens know the meaning of the desire of the soul and it matters not whether you are in certain ones of your churches or synagogues or temples or out by the lake sitting quietly in meditation. Anywhere that you are, the desire going from the soul made in the image of the Father is going out, out into the ether to be received, and in the receiving of this, instantly there are angels--guardians--and at times even some of your loved ones who have lived on Earth with you, depending on the occasion and the need and the one to help. All these can take place and can change the circumstances around you or can change your thoughts or your actions to a certain degree. Keeping in mind that you have free will so that you are master of your fate, you can delay action or you can receive according to your free will of the soul.

These are the changes that can take place--not that the great laws of the universe are changed--for these are not but your Divine Father had made it possible that many are those serving Him and serving you in His name, even as we come from other realms apart from Earth because we have chosen to serve in the capacity where we may be most helpful. Thus are we sent and appointed to certain ways and places and groups of Earth. And so it is with those in the world of spirit. The spiritual beings will come, guardian angels will come at your bidding. Many are at your service in His name even as you. So you may see the possibilities of many ways that you are helped. And is it not all because the Father knew that you would have need and so ordained this way before you were placed in paradise, that all would be possible whatever your needs might be? So no great laws are changed. They are made that always mercy will be available, always will you have these to assist you when you ask and pray and seek.

Does this not make prayer a different picture to you now when you ask, you seek that a need be met and it matters not your mistakes for it is the desire that sends it forth. If you pray amiss you will be guided and shown. When you ask, you will be shown your greatest need. It is not always that which you think it might be so in opening the door, in making yourself a completely clear channel, then will the desire of the soul be sent forth and the needs of the flesh and the soul will be visible to those assisting you and the needs will be met. You may lie in peaceful state without uttering a word and yet the soul will be expressing a prayer, a desire, a need and instantly that this is sent forth it is received by those who have given themselves to you in service that they might hold you up, that you stumble not. But you close the door, you block the assistance by your anxiety and your fears and your doubts and your discords.

If all the religious and spiritual groups of the world today would stop their disagreeing, their discordant notes, their quarreling, their dissension, their jealousies, fi they would stop all and just sit back and say, "Lord, here am I--let your will be done through me." If they would do this and truly trust, leaving out the fear and anxiety and doubts, then would all be lifted up. For the Lord cares not by what name or organization you go, by what creeds or doctrines you profess, it is only that you clear the way, that the light shine through and that the power of the Creative Spirit can operate through you. That is the important thing. All else will be added. Have you not been told, "Seek first the Kingdom of Heaven" and that, you are told, is within you? Seek that open door, seek that light that is buried within you. Do not put it out but let it shine that you glorify your Maker. May your hearts have understanding, may you ponder these, go back and remember. The spirit of you is important to the completion of the mission on Earth.

Answer: Yes, this is Ann. That is correct. You are learning to recognize us. We are glad that you know us, each one, but we are not putting forth our personalities. We are only bearers of the truth and light, for we would serve in humility that none be above our God. Selah.

Aleph, Invisible commander of a space fleet, speaks through Louise:

SO BE IT.

Group: Greetings, Aleph.

Greetings to you. We would have you know that many of us are with you but not all attempt to speak through the voice box. It is difficult for many, for it is a mechanical manipulation and many changes have to be done before coming into your vibration to work through a human instrument. Thus it is that many do not attempt to use this method but prefer to come to you telepathically. That is the aim, for all will eventually reach this understanding. There will be no need for language or sound but there will be direct communication by instantaneous transference of thought from one consciousness to another, with no need for time delay. As your vibrations are speeded up you will find this becomes easier for you. We are working with you that you might experiment, that you might put into practice many of these things so that they become familiar and easy for you when the time comes that you use them. All is gradual transition to a certain stage, then comes the quick change. This is true through evolution through all forms of progress. It is one of the great laws.

We are again focusing a beam of light from the ship of space into the midst of your group so that you be surrounded with an intensity according to the degree that you can take. This is gradual preparation, too, that you do not realize for you could not stand the heat nor light were you put into it immediately. It would mean death to you in the flesh and shock to the spirit. Therefore it is wisdom that it be done gradually and that you be conditioned.

You are changing constantly and many of you are aware of this. The cells of your atomic structure have changed from what they were a few short years ago. Your consciousness has changed, the quickening of the body, the understanding, and it is being done gradually. You are constantly being worked with by those who understand the laws and are carefully protecting you.

This beam is intensifying and some of you will feel it more than others. It is a blue ray that is being sent through and penetrating each cell of your body. It is coming from that which you prefer to call mother ship at an Earth distance of approximately one hundred thousand feet. Can you not feel some change within you? Even your brain cells are affected, but it is good, never fear. Each moment that you are being quickened, that you are being raised in vibration is bringing you closer to that which will be, eventually, your "glorified body" to quote your words and your scriptures. Many do not understand these and many use other words, but it is the "superman" if you would call it such, back to your being of the fourth dimension. You are gradually being changed. Remember this and give thanks that it is gradual, for you could not stand it otherwise.

This will help your awareness; it will increase; you will find that your intuitive ability will increase, your telepathic recognition will be greater. Many of you are taken in flight at night when you are sleeping. When the body rests you are conditioned and worked with. Part of this is according to the desire of your soul and all is in the great plan of the Most High, to lift up those of Earth. Give thanks daily that you are being prepared as the time draws near. Let your heart be filled with joy for you are being made ready. You have chosen and you are chosen to be a part of the great host, the spiritualized beings that will inhabit the great Kingdom of Light on Earth.

While in this beam you have greater freedom to direct your thoughts with power, for the way is cleared at this moment. Let this be beneficial to you and others. Recognize within yourself the infilling of Light, the quickening within you. Be aware, breathe deeply and know that you are receiving power that will make you restored. You will be made whole. Your soul knows the truth if you let your conscious mind accept and direct this same power and intensity straight to the consciousness of others that might be in need. This is not a game, this is reality. It is more powerful than that which you know as electricity. Put your mind in action. Be not mentally lazy but direct, concentrate, learn to work with that which is given you, not with strain, but with a knowing and authority. You do have that authority to direct the power that is given you to others upon Earth. Be confident--let it not be said of you as it was of many long ago, "O ye of little faith." Know that all comes from your Maker. Know that you are assigned a mission on Earth and that you are given the power to fulfill that mission. You have all the power of Heaven and Earth behind you and within you for that was your commission.

We are now breaking the intensity of the light ray and you should begin to feel a difference. We are still with you but will say goodnight for now. Selah.

Part 3

Eleanor, invisible teacher from the space fleet: And now dear ones, are there questions that you would care to ask? We would be glad to listen and to help you in your individual quest.

Question: What is the position of the Mormon prophet, David R. McKay, with respect to contact with these teachers?

Answer: Well, there are certainly many, many working with Earth today but we do not go so much under names as you do. We do not have this one in the same group of workers but there are many working in the same way with the same purpose and are enlightening the Earth. The true vision of the early Mormons had a great place in the awareness and stirring of the souls of Earth. The vision, the appearing of the angel to Joseph Smith began many great things and the truths that were coming through him were of the same as you would find today but as many came through after one leader would leave and another take over, many distortions came in. But the leaders that were in all churches, all religions, all groups have been sincerely trying to hand down one to the other but many distortions have come into that which is showing today. But you find that the great leaders of all religions are working now for the beginning of the New Age and much is being done through Mormon's contacts, leaders, prophets. The Seventy--many are working in the same direction under the White Brotherhood. We do not know all individually for there are thousands and millions working for Earth, so we would not know everything about this one but the general work of all goes together to bring light to the world.

Question: We believe David R. McKay to be in contact with the Supreme Intelligence of the universe.

Answer: Yes, many of those leading in the Mormon religion have been in close contact, so we know that the work is going through but we are not closely associated, which I am sure that you can understand. They cannot all be together when there are so many millions. Man has no idea how many are involved in this great mission for one small planet.

Question: This Supreme Intelligence that the gentleman referred to; isn't that what we call "God"?

Answer: Yes. That is what you refer to by that name. The thing that has caused the most difficulty is terminology and many upon Earth have been confused and have argued over words without understanding in their consciousness. There are many titles. The confusion about the word "God" is this: Some upon Earth have reverenced that word and made it what they wanted it to mean and to them it does mean such but to others it is recognized that it is a title, it is in the great organization of the universe and of the heavens and of the planetary systems, the solar systems, the galaxies. All the greatness of creation is under system and law and order and organization, not man's poor organization but a great divine organization with wisdom. In this are many titles and ranks and lords over lords, lord gods and gods as you would have titles of president and king and emperor, queen, dictator, many rulers. In the true sense of the word (and that causes the consternation) there can be lords--for a while several lords will be over certain planets, ruling them, being given dominion over them as your Lord was given dominion over the Earth. There are many systems that are ruled by lords and according to the discharge of duty some are lord gods over entire solar systems and galaxies but when you speak of the Almighty Creator, the Highest to which none can attain, that is Supreme Intelligence, Supreme Wisdom, but that may or may not be called by the wor "God". That is an English word and many other names are used. Many would not even speak the name out of reverence so that it has become confused.

Question: Eleanor, does that still obtain in Isreal? They still refrain?

Answer: Yes, but if you say there are no other gods before the Almighty, that is correct. Would there have been the commandment given if there were no other gods at all? There would be no need to say, "Put no gods before me." if there were none. It is true man has made gods of many things, material things, gold, money, vanity, praise, heroes, many things, works of man, but also there are those with the title "god" which does mean the Great Creator. So rather than have the confusion of words many have been called the "First Cause" or the "Supreme Intelligence" or many other titles but the point is to have the greatest of reverence and respect and awe for that unattainable One who is the Father of all. Do not let this distrub those who have placed the English word "God" upon this Highest One. That is your meaning and your understanding of the highest God of all.

Question: Eleanor, will you enlighten us in regard to the term Mother-God?

Answer: The completeness, the wholeness, the Mother-Father aspect, the positive-negative, all is in wholeness and completeness. It is difficult to put into your words but there is that in which the Father-Mother becomes one. That is the completion and from that comes the reproduction, whether it be in the flesh, whether it be in the image of God, whether it be the begotten son, whether it be that which is created or envisioned--that which comes from the merging of Mother-Father which is the one total completeness which produces. In the great power of the spirit working through all things many have misunderstood this and also down through the many speres there has come the understanding of the Adam-Eve relationship, there has come that which was with Mary, there have come the union of two, of all, again we cannot have accurate words. Again no one has fully understood in entirety but it is the Father-Mother principle in One, in the great "Supreme Intelligence" as you have called it. In that which is the Creator there was all in One and from that was the begotten.

It is difficult, beloved, to put into words. Even the separating down through many ages of man on Earth. There was a time as the angels and as others of other creations--Adam himself at one time was the complete whole, androgynous, both within one. You will be returned to that in the far distant future when all will be complete in the one unit. But there must be the Father-Mother principle together and in its perfection it is One. Only in the lower vibrations is it separated. Thus it is that man is ever seeking his soul mate, for half has been removed from him. Again will he be one complete soul, one unit.

Question: I think you were reading my mind, weren't you, Eleanor?

Answer: Yes, there were wonders, and we try to bring you light to your question but you have no idea of the difficulty, partly because of your lack of comprehension, partly because we cannot put into words thing of the infinite. Your words are inadequate that is why you must quickly learn communication telepathically and receive. This is the reason that the real understanding comes from concepts given you through unfoldment and revelation. When you open the door so that these can come, in a glimpse you can have an understanding of law or principle that you might have studied all your life and not understood for it can never be put into words. You will find this will develope. We have been teaching this instrument in that way many times and there is a great difference when you become receptive so that you can have an entire concept presented to you within the understanding of your soul, without words. There you know. This will come to each of you as you open in awareness and as you seek and desire. But you must want it above all else and you must set forth time that you spend in meditation, in reading of the Holy Writ which is focusing upon these principles and concepts and opens the door to light and understanding. Then when you are, in the vernacular of your day, "Caught off guard", when you lose yourself in something, then can we work.

Question: That's when the intelligence slips in and hands it to you, passes it to you?

Answer: That is correct; when you are not interfering. We must get you to places, each of you, that you can lose yourself whether it be in reading your Bible or in your work--many times one that is completely engrossed in work that he loves to do will lose himself for that moment. Then things can slip through, then you can be reached. Again at night when you let go the troubles of the day, sometimes in a moment before sleep, we can work but you do not always remember at that time.

Question: I think most people have a general idea that something takes place.

Answer: More and more will you remember this. You can if you ask. It is only that we work when we have not too much interference for your soul has given permission, your soul desires. We would not work if it were against your will, but having desired, your human mind and will constantly block that and interfere so that is the great difficulty to remove all this.

Question: You can't force it on us, eh?

Answer: That is correct. But if you choose and want enough you will see to it that you have many times to be still and to know your God. You will find that you will have time to meditate and in that you will have revelation come. You can be spoken to in dreams at night. You can take astral projection and go to temples of learning while the body sleeps or you can choose to help and serve on the next plane. Many are the wonders and some of the greatest work is done while you are asleep.

Question: Could you give us a description of what is conceived in higher realms which one contemplates or one meditates?

Answer: With concentration you focus intently upon a point of thought or light or picture or that image that you would hold to and sustain a path. With concentration there is a straining as a rule and you cannot hold concentration too long. With contemplation you are thinking with your soul. You are not holding to one point and one thought and sustaining it. You are trying to evaluate the spiritual. You are contemplating an ideal, an image, or you are placing yourself in that state of passivity. Yes, in your contemplating God, for instance, you are opening your soul to understanding. You are looking and wondering and yet you are not in that state of nirvana.

In meditation you actually are listening and becoming receptive; you are doing something or sending out, either looking or thinking in the other two; and in praying you are speaking to your Lord, you are seeking and asking and talking with him, laying bare your soul. In meditation you should be listening for your answer. In meditating you should be still in the presence of your Lord, stilling your thoughts and listening for the answer that would come through.

Question: Does that mean that you could work both at the same time, contemplate and then meditate, listening?

Answer: Yes, then you are truly opening the doors and there is a sending out at a given time whether it be words or the thoughts of the soul or questions. There is a communication you send out, you are seeking, you are asking, or praying, or thinking, or looking at an object--whatever it might be. In meditation you are quiet, you still your conscious mind, you relax and you become almost numb. You let go completely and expectantly listen. First remind yourself and be aware that you will receive an answer and then listen for the speaking of your heart. For you will be shown whether it be a picture, or vision or dream, revelation, or whether it be words given you. If you ask earnestly and you sit quietly, expecting, then you listen and you will receive. But remember, this must be correct meditation; it must not be with thoughts in your mind. It must be practiced with discipline, day after day at the same time, preferably in the same place but at least something that will become automatic, that will be auto-suggestion for you.

You go even as the example of the instrument now at the given time when there is to be a session, or a reading, or a group meeting. Consciously she knows that everything else, no matter what it is, how busy, how important, what has been or should be, everything, must go at that time and she puts all out of her mind; and instantly with recognition of the room or the chair she approaches, she knows, with the conscious and the subconscious that everything else stops for the moment. She is to go away and she willingly lets that happen and herself be used by other teachers.

So it becomes after so long a time a sort of self-hypnosis, you might say, or auto-suggestion--it becomes an automatic thing that the minute she sits down she knows that something will soon take place and it becomes automatic. If you do this time after time, you will begin to find that meditation will become a clear source of inspiration for you will not be given all the time to asking favors of your God but you will be listening for His instructions.

There is a time to pray and ask. There is a time to concentrate, to look upon one thing. There is a time to contemplate, to think upon, to wonder, to ponder, to dream about, to evaluate; and most important of all is the time to be still and know, and that means listening to the God within you.

We realize the limitations on both dimensions and particularly with words, but we try to bring through understanding apart from the words and we will try to reach your consciousness, each of you, that clearer understanding come. As you ponder upon these in your consciousness, it is much easier for us to bring through a flash of light to you and understanding at that time than it is to give it to you in words. So we use the words as a focal point and get you to concentrate upon the thought and as you lose yourself in that then we can come through and enlighten you. So we will continue this. We will speak with you as you think upon it tonight before you go to sleep.

Question: Is what I have been doing correct?

Answer: Yes, you have been on the right path. Just remember to keep your thoughts quieted.

Question: Eleanor, Ann was talking to us earlier in the evening about the value of prayer. I wonder if you would give us a little rundown, as they say in electronics, on the value of petitionary and thanksgiving prayer.

Answer: The greatest prayer of all is thanksgiving. Always should you enter ther gates with praise. If man could remember to have a joyful heart and to give praise for all that he takes for granted and to have a heart filled with thanksgiving, then he would have no need to petition.

Question: Prayer is a petition, a begging for something, as most people understand it, isn't it?

Answer: That has been the mistaken idea. That is not the correct way and yet there is a place for an asking of a kind, for guidance, but if the asking is not for wrong motives or for selfish reasons there can be an innocent childlike asking and yet that is as you were told before, a matter that goes to the messengers that are helping. There are some things that can be worked out with you and when you are seeking in a certain direction and you ask for help in this, there will be angels at your side and there will be much help that you receive but none of t e great laws of the universe are set aside that you might have your will fulfilled. This is not to be.

Question: That's what a lot of people figure--"stop everything and do what I ask for."

Answer: But it id also the interpretation of those that do not belive in this way, that they are expecting God Almighty to step aside. This is not the case, but the angel serving Him will be at your side in small matters even as the saying of "Not a sparrow falls to the ground but that it is known." In this way every personal detail in small things can be guided and watched and cared for because of the millions of angels and messengers and workers that are constantly by your side, by the side of man and in this way personal attention and small changes can take place. That is not upsetting the laws of the universe. The greatest of prayer would be your thanksgiving but then do you find certain times for invocation and for praying for the benefits of mankind. You note that the Master Jesus did pray for those that he was leaving in the world. There are times when this should be done but it is still that they are being placed in line with the Divine Will. You are not setting the pattern as to how it should be done and you are not putting your will above the Divine Will. This is the mistake many make. It is right that you cooperate and that you work with that which is part of the divine plan and that you seek guidance so that you know and understand the plan.

Question: The Master Jesus said, "Not my will but thy will . . ."

Answer: That is correct. He asked if the cup could be removed but nevertheless it was to be the Father's will for whatever the plan was. It is the human way to ask help or escape from some things and help comes in many ways; but most important of all is the prayer of thanksgiving and recognizing and understanding and expecting the premises already given. See yourself in line with these.

We would have you understand the difference for there are times when in speaking with the soul of another you can instill or direct peace or help to that soul, and that is making use of the great law that has already been given you--that the power is everywhere available and can work through you and you direct it with your mind. So when you ask that certain things be done in others you are directing a force and saying with intent that you want it to be that of the divine plan.

Question: In other words it id not petitionary but maddatory?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Assuming, of course, that it is already yours, in the divine will.

Answer: That is correct and giving thanks that it is there, recognizing it and claiming it but not with credit to man, not with arrogance, not with presumption; but with humility and yet with divine authority and knowing within you that you have been given the power and given the right to use it and in humility you use it. But you give thanks that it is available and you believe. It is understanding of yourself and working with it. It is not so important that you make errors but as you understand this more and more, you will change your prayers and the meaning will become more clear to you. But always reach the place of thanksgiving and counting your blessings. Then will it come through.

We are quite happy that new ones have joined with you for everwhere is the sign of the accomplishing of the great mission on Earth. More and more are the awakened souls being drawn together in groups in places where they have gone for a long time thinking they were isolated, that no one else believed as they did or understood. Thousands over the Earth are holding up their heads, are loodirg and finding that they are being led one to another, that they are being gathered together for a purpose.
